    Will this product actually rid my dog of an infestation or is it only a preventive?

    回答：

    This product prevent and rid of all fleas and intestinal worms but it is only a preventative against the all important heartworm. You need to make sure that your dog doesn't have heartworm before you start to use this product periodically.

    Do I need to use heartgard as well? My dogs have no heart worm so I'm looking for the med that provides the best prevention for everything. One is a lab the other is half lab / mastiff, thank you

    You don't need Heartgard if you are using Advocate. If you want a product to cover everything Nexgard Spectra is a new product and pretty much covers ticks, fleas and all types of worms.

    This product is also a Heartworm preventative. However it doesn't treat heartworm. If your dog hasn't got heartworm already, you don't need anything else.
