    I have one dog ,one cat. Can I buy Advocate for dog and is it safe at a lower dose on the cat? Ingredients looks the same on both packages.

    回答：

    It is the same ingredient but the formulation (liquid to active ingredient ratio) is completely different. There is a tiny amount of liquid in each tube. It is almost impossible to distribute correctly. We recommend you use Advocate for cats for you cats.

    This product is used for prevention. It's a good idea to get your dog tested If you suspect he/she might have heartworms.

    If the liquid is applied down the back, isn't there a chance the dog can get to it and lick? Can it be applied to the neck area only?
