I've used Stronghold Red Dogs 22-44lbs on my dog for all of her 8 years. My vet prompts me to get heartworm treatment anyway (Yearly shot or monthly Simaparica). Will Simparica in addition to Stronghold be too much treatment?

Stronghold covers heartworms but not ticks. if you use Stronghold, you shouldn't need a heartworm treatment, but you would need a treatment for ticks, . Simparica Trio covers Ticks, fleas as well as heartworms, so normally you wouldn't need any other treatment when you are using Sinparica Trio.

Is this safe for pregnant dogs to take?
