    You can use Stronghold safely on kittens 6 weeks of age and older.

    Both products cover the same parasites but they produced by different manufacturer with different formulas. You can switch to Stronghold safely if you know that your dog don't have heartgard.

    I have been using Stronghold for Small dogs for my Shih tzu for a few years. My vet said that it did not protect from Ticks and said I needed to get a Seresto collar for full protection. Is that necessary? Will the Stronghold be enough to protect my dog rather than go to the expense of both products. I live in the state of Virginia, USA Thank you so much.

    Stronghold doesn't cover ticks. Actually there is no products on the market cover for all 3 fleas / ticks / intestinal worms. So it could be a good idea to protect your dog against ticks too. But we can't make any medical recommendations.

    I have been shopping at Petbucket.com for a few years now. In my humble opinion, they are the best online store for buying my flea/tick/heartworm treatment. They're prices are fantastic. They are clear right on their site as to why their prices are so low.

    I started my dogs' treatment using Revolution. On Petbucket, it is called Stronghold. This is because it is manufactured in the UK and that's the name they use there. It is manufactured by the same company, Pfizer, both here in the US and in the UK.

    I like this treatment best because in addition to treating fleas and ticks, it is also a heartworm preventative.

    As far as Petbucket's customer service is concerned, when I had a problem it was quickly dealt with in a concerned, quick and friendly manner.

    It's always a joy to do business with such a great company. I will never use another. Thanks, Petbucket!!!
