    Hello. I always used Revolution ampoule for large dogs. I have many cats. These ampoules are suitable for cats. Stronghold ampoules are suitable for cats, will I not kill my cats? And why do you have 6 ampoules on sale, and there are 12 ampoules on the box? How many ampoules are in this box?

    Stronghold is exactly the same product as Revolution. The manufacturer sells it in a different name in Europe. This product has 12 tubes inside.

    If this is product is basically the same as Revolution why don’t you need a vet’s prescription? I’ve always had to for Revolution.

    This is the exactly the same product as Revolution. The manufacturer markets this product as "Stronghold" in Europe. All the products we currently sell are "over the counter" products in the country they are shipped from and no prescription is required.

    I just had a chat with an employee, and was told that Stronghold does take care of ticks. So I'm confused with some of the questions/answers here.

    It only controls American Dog Tick infestation. So it's not a complete protection.

    On the 7th of this month, it'll be the 30 day marker to reapply this medication for my dogs. My dog has a huge blood tick stuck on her chest. Why is it not dead? We applied it properly. Does this not kill ticks also?

    回答：

    Stronghold and Recolution doesnt kill ticks. You need another product for ticks. You can find them under the tick prvintion category.

  5. 問題：

    Stronghold doesn't cover ticks, so if you have tick problem on your area, you should use tick treatment with Stronghold. However, Advantix only covers tick and fleas. It doesn't cover intestinal parasites and heartworm. According your answer: i also use drontal so drontal + advantix seems best options for my dog.

    It is a good combo but please note, Drontal doesn't cover heartworm. If you think that would be an issue, you may try Advantix + Heartgard too.

    Revolution equivalent for US

    I live in the US and used Revolution for for years for my pack. So when I found Stronghold which is the UK equivalent but at a much more affordable price I was sold. Same great product for preventative pet care but at a better price.

    Tough of fleas, even in the Deep South!

    We’ve been using Stronghold for our Giant Schnauzers for several years now and have always been happy with the way it works. We do use it every 3 weeks in the summertime as we are in Georgia and fleas can really get out of control here. I am a dog groomer and have recommended Stronghold to many of my clients and their dogs are consistently free of fleas when they come in for grooming!
