狗狗尊重你的四個跡象
贏得狗狗的尊重，是任何飼主與寵物關係中至關重要的一環。以下幾個跡象，表示 Fido 非常敬重你。
 
狗狗以忠誠聞名，但同樣重要的是，牠也要尊重你。這不僅能在你下達指令讓牠遠離危險時保障牠的安全，也能讓你和牠之間的關係更加愉快。以下幾個跡象，表示 Fido 對你極為敬重：
 
  1. 牠讓你先走：如果你的狗狗總是搶著比你先衝到門口，很可能代表牠不夠尊重你。在犬群中，領袖總是走在前面，因此要留意你的寵物是否會耐心地在你身後等候。同樣地，群體領袖也總是先吃飯，所以請先吃完自己的餐點，再餵狗狗。如果你能短暫地不看管餐盤，而狗狗不會偷吃你的食物，這就是牠尊重你作為犬群領袖的重要跡象。
 
  1. 牠熱情迎接你：  真正尊重主人的狗狗，會搖著尾巴、放鬆耳朵，並展現其他順從的肢體語言來迎接主人。如果牠親親你的臉頰或舔舔嘴唇，表示你的狗狗認可你是牠犬群中的領袖。
  
  1. 牠會聽你的話：不理會指令的狗狗是在展現牠的主導地位，因此務必教導你的寵物服從「坐下」、「等待」和「過來」等基本指令。這不僅對贏得狗狗的尊重至關重要，在面對來車、有毒物質或其他危險情況時，也能讓牠遠離傷害。 
 
  1. 牠不會霸佔舒適位置： 犬群領袖總是占據最好的坐臥位置，這項原則也應適用於你和狗狗之間。當你想坐在沙發或床上時，一隻懂得尊重人的寵物會讓出位置。當然，和寵物共享這些空間完全沒問題，但牠不該試圖把你擠開。
 
贏得狗狗的尊重並不困難。下達一致的指令，當牠聽從你時給予充足讚美；同樣地，當狗狗行為失控時，也要採取一致的處置—例如縮短遊戲時間—。多花時間陪牠玩耍、建立感情，同時始終掌握情況的主導權。透過展現你是一位可靠的領袖，狗狗會逐漸信任你，讓你們之間的連結更加深厚。

    My 5 year old 9 breed mix is @ 30 lbs. She'd attack a Rottweiler in a spiked collar if one walked by! Never learned to socialize as she was captured in the wild down south. Her tail wags like crazy, but she's snarling, snorting and shaking! Passive-aggressive?

    your dog is fearful-aggressive Your a good person to rescue her and because she was captured in the wild down south she most likely had to fight off other dogs to survive for food, shelter and because she is a female and probably not spayed...fight off male dogs. She would need a behaviorlist trainer to desensitize her from other dogs which takes patience. Her tail wagging like crazy can be a sign of stress not happiness.

    your dog is fearful aggressive. Just because the tail is wagging doesn't mean she is happy...it also means stress. Since she is from the woods in the south she probably had to fight off other dogs for food, shelter and if not spayed male dogs. You would need a really good behavioral dog trainer or you can desensitize her yourself with lot's of patience by having her see dogs from a distance and seeing were her red zone is and slowley moving closer to passing the other dog with no signs of fear or aggresion. Also use food and lot's of praise as a reward for good behavior. You are a good person for rescuing her and looking for a solution and not giving up on her.
